Swimmers' Responsibilities

Each team member must share in the following responsibilities:

  1. Attend practice on a regular basis.

  2. Attend all required meets.

  3. Communicate to your coach when you cannot fulfill your responsibilities.

  4. Take an active role in promoting the positive aspects of Roseville Swim Teams.

  5. Wear the team suit and uniform at all meets.

  6. Arrive at all practice sessions on time.

  7. Aid in setting up and putting and away all equipment.

  8. Refrain from all "horseplay" and misconduct before, after and during workout.

  9. Take care of your own health and well being by wearing shoes, dressing warmly after workouts and between events on cool days, and preventing "swimmer's ear".  Commercial preparations are available over the counter to help prevent swimmer's ear.

  10. Compliment others on their achievements and approach all situations with a positive outlook. Encourage others who are down.

  11. Actively participate in team social activities and outings.  Be a part of your team.  You will have a lot of fun and get to know the other swimmers.

  12. Support your coach and his/her training program.

  13. Establish high goals and actively train to achieve them.  Winning isn't as important as doing your very best.

  14. MOST IMPORTANTLY: HAVE FUN!
